Battle fleet gothic armada crit chances2/24/2023 ![]() ![]() Dealing with RNG rolls is a problem for everyone and the Necrons apply quite a lot of pressure with their 60% boarding crit, it's having the ability to play around ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situations that are the mark of a really good player. Yeah, you're not wrong, but having RNG, even if it's frustrating, will keep the game fresh for longer. IMO, it's a little too much RNG for this type of game. That in particular is rare, but it can happen and I've seen it at least twice.Īs for insta-destroyed claw nids I see it in nearly every game, typically on at least half of the ships, many times on all of them if my opponent has multiple high-crit weapon ships. This beginner's guide will give you a general sense of what to expect from various types of situations and how to prepare. Every little detail is important, as the game is full of deep mechanics that could fit into a whole book. It buffs and changes many abilities, meaning that your choices matter more as a admiral. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is an RTS game that requires precise micro-management and fine tuning of your ships. It rebalances morale, but increasing the rate at which morale regenerates, and several morale related effects. I've seen a single ship fire a lance battery and instantly red crit a fresh voidstalker's generator through full holofield. It rebalances critical hits, making bigger ships more resistant to crits. I noticed that sword/shield has a new combo set though, thats neat. I've seen it happen to every faction and every ship capable of having systems destroyed. Originally posted by His Majesty, the Lord of Space:A volley of fire is capable of rolling 2 crits to the same system destroying it (red) instantly. Most of the time crtis will go straight to heavy or go light to heavy long before the one minute time. And that passive where they recover from light crits every minute is just a joke. I'm not entirely sure what could be done, but I definitely feel like Necron need something else, like a racial passive, to better protect from crits. Without the Pyramidal Reconstruction skill I would of had two ships forced to retreat before the fight even started. Situations like this seem to only (or mostly) happen to Necron. The other had its deck and three of five weapons knocked out by the time it got in range. ![]() I had one match (Vs Ai so luckily it didn't matter much) where two of my Shrouds got detected by the enemy, who was Chaos, and one Shroud was fully heavy crit-ed (engine, deck, and all five weapons) before the ship could get in range to fight back. Necron are basically forced to take the Pyramidal Reconstruction skill and Tesseract Crypt upgrade just to have a chance to stay functional in fights. ![]() I feel like Necrons need something to protect them from crits better. ![]()
